So today I got a Koi and a Rat. Ya, a Koi. I live in an apartment. He's gonna get a pond... in my living room. And yes, a rat. I feed rats to my snakes. But this one is super sweet ok.

The Koi is a light yellow/orange gold color. His face is sorta puffy and rounded.. according to my fish fanatic friend he has a bit of an infection right now but he's also just sorta plain deformed. He's super sweet though, not very shy, he'll come up to the surface and let you pet his nose while making derpy faces at you. Once I get a nice big trough to hook up like a pond in my living room, he'll be going in it with my two shubunkin Sandman and Scrumpy. He seems to go by Gimpy, Derpy, Derps, and omfg that fish is stupid looking.

The rat has a head tilt, probably from an ear infection, that wasn't seeming to go away. She kept getting sick at work and just seems to be doing worse. The only vet that sees pocket pets around here is useless and tries the same thing every time like she expects a different result, so I'm going to try some things myself, but if none of those things work she's not likely to live. She doesn't have a name. I'm reluctant to give her one, but I sorta like calling her just Rat as a name anyway.
